How to make your own E-sys Launcher cheat codes

I’d like to share some details on how to create your own E-sys Launcher Cheat Codes. I think it may be helpful for more individuals.

These Codes work for both Premium and Pro version of Tokenmaster's Launcher.

  • Pro: syncs with Github repository.
    • C:Program Files (x86)TokenMasterE-Sys Launcher PROFDLCodes
  • Premium: you can manually download updates from same repositorry

The XML format is rather straightforward. There are plenty of examples (see directories above), but here are a few tips:

  1. Use Notepad++to make changes. It has many advantages, including colors, dictionary to correct or insert words, HTML highlight function, search, & collapse on different levels.
  2. Start with Basic Shell (See details & examples of bold letters below):

    • A)Author Name = Eg, "Almaretto_Personal". I use same name as File (eg, Almaretto_Personal.xml). Author is used in configuration when selecting sheets as well as one of the filters. See "D" for second.
    • B)CAFD_ID = Eg, "000017BE" (Note: do not include full name like CAFD_000017BE_125_025_010)
    • C)ECU Name = Eg, "BDC_01"
    • D)Series (OPTIONAL), use only Main series (See CAFD_ID PDF, Pg 2 FAFP Table or PSdZ data mainseries folders) = Eg, "F015,I001". Use G011 not G012. This is second filter.
    • E)Description show in list of codes. Use keywords to filter results. Certain characters are allowed (eg, %), but do not use ones like "<" or "#" or "&."
    • F)4 Alphanumeric CAF Section = EG, "3020". These are the main folders in CAF. If coding spans multiple groups, you can close group (ie </Group>) & start new one. As an example, see my coding for NGHB.
    • G)This is "Storage Info" (Start, End, Bitmask) = "9", "9", "00000001b". You can view in NCD / CAFD tool or E-sys (check Storage Info" box). If information is incorrect, you will have description, but nothing or part of code displayed when you "Review." You can have multiple functions between groups.
    • H)Comment (Optional). These show in third column when you select "Review" button. I sometimes use for funktion name (eg, "TCM_LOGIC_R_OFF_DOOR") to make verification of "G" [ie 1st (FDL) & 3rd column (Comment) would match]. You could also use to list additional information such as factory values or reminder to complete coding in other modules. See image below.
    • I)You can either use drop-down words (eg, "aktiv") or werte values (eg "01"). If you spell incorrectly, you will get errors or you might get incorrect selects for target.

Here is what it looks like filled in. Note how code start & end gets highlighted in purple to show complete arguments.

  1. When you think you are done, you can open *file.xml in Internet Explorer. If you made a mistake (eg, use unacceptable characters or forget to close arguments), you will get something like:

  2. If you make a mistake, you can correct. Then, select "Refresh" button to re-load available Cheat Codes.
  3. It is up to you whether you want to reduce amount of text by putting multiple options between each "CAFD_ID." It is pretty much just copy, paste, & change necessary information.
    • FDL brackets entire list
    • CAFD brackets ECU's. You can either put all functions under same group or divide up if you want to use different series filters
    • Code groups each selectable option
    • Group brackets all functions of a particular code within same section

How to Solve VVDI Prog "chip needs to be cracked" problem?

VVDI Prog V4.6.9 software is used to fix a 2007 Audi Q5 J518 module. And checked connection diagram,follow your instructions to solder the MC9S12 cable to the board. When I try and use the software, it seems to connect with the MCU but than at the end it states "chip needs to be cracked." What does this mean? And how do I accomplish this?

  • You can also return to home screen and select ”not save”. The revised data will not be saved in this case. Click【Save file】as shown below.

  • The filename defaults to be the one when it’s open. If you need to revise the filename, click the prompt frame and input new filename and click 【Save】. Refer to below pic.

Calculator

【Calculator】includes two functions: SysConvert and XOR.

  • SysConvert: Arbitrary conversion among Hex, Bin, Dec and Oct.

Click any number on the screen, and the number will be converted automatically. For example, click ”94”, the calculator will convert it to Bin, Dec and Oct numbers. Refer to below pics.

Prompt frame can be moved around the screen.

You can also input data to convert it with small keypad, as shown below.

  • For XOR, you need to input No.1 and 2 manually. The calculating result is as follows:

How to get bitting code with SEC-E9 key cutting machine

There are three options to read get bitting code (also named key code) using SEC-E9 automatic key cutting machine.

What is bitting code?

The bitting code is the translated blind code which the locksmith actually uses to cut each blank key. Example: padlock blind code W123 translates to bitting code 25313, to which the locksmith would cut the key with his code machine by setting it to 25313.

What is SEC-E9 key cutting machine?

Option 1: decoding the original key

Tab ”decide” to enter the decoding page

Select the most right blue icon as sense key location and ”round of”

Check the original key can open the cylinder

Fix the original key on the top level of the clamp

Please pay attention to the key position

Tab ”decode” to start decoding the original key and get the bitting code

Option 2: search key code

This is the key code for a Toyota Camry key

Tab ”code” and input ”5-5-0-6-2” to get the bitting code

Option 3: input bitting code directly

Tab ”Input” and input bitting code you get from other ways, such as A cylinder, Lishi tool or InstaCode, etc.

What’s Tech2 TIS2000 hardware/security key used for?

I have a question about the TIS2000 hardware/security key. What exactly is the purpose of it? I don't have one, and was wondering if I can still use the TIS software without it.

Reply:

There are three versions of the hardware key:

the original green parallel port key,

the newer white Rainbow Technologies parallel port key

and now the USB key also made by Rainbow Technologies.

Normally the GM SPS software (TIS2000) as supplied by GM requires a hardware key for its SPS functions.

However most GM dealers now use a web based SPS system that links directly to GM's database via a password protected secure GM website which do not a hardware key.

Some dealers still use a standalone SPS terminal which does require a key.

Without this key the software and its programming system is inoperative unless you have a hack for it.

All other functions of the TIS program will work without the key, if you have full blown TIS package it will include software that can download and playback data recordings done with the TECH2 scanners, it will also update a TECH2 with the latest software from GM.

Guide:

Step 1. Read original "EIS" data without reading password and save data to new file with vin number.

Connection to device, please wait...

Read EIS data

Copy VIN, ensure it's activated.

Create a new folder named as the VIN number.

Solution to VVDI MB BGA TOOL can't renew used EIS for W210

I use VVDI MB BGA TOOL and have a W210 that have some problem to turn key around in keylock
Program tell me to "Renew EIZ"

I need to write file from broken EIS to used EIS.
I have renew used EIS, but then I can't write my file back to used renew EIS.
It stop on 80% writing.

I have read keypass from Eeprom on key and save file.
I try to write but it dont work

I did move 2pc mcu to a working used EIZ but same problem, and cant renew...
So hardware is working but my be fault in software in 1 or 2 mcu...

Solution:

why you not rewrite mcu's content when you have it desoldered yet...
you only waste time now...
and in other case, when you want to use used EZS, then you can only make new key and renew ecu with esl and teach back and all finish....its more simply.

Clone GM MDI Serial Number, How to change?

We now have 2 GM MDI clone's in the shop, along with a couple of genuine ones.. I have added wireless cards to both of the clones now, and they work great.. Problem is that they have the same serial number.. this really is a problem, especially when using wireless.. The MDI manager or sps or GDS2, or tech2win really gets screwed up even if your connected wired and another one shows up wireless on the same network..

Now I have been researching this, and trying to find a solution..

... so bear with me, if your not interested, just stop reading.. lol..

the MDI interface has a hardcoded serial number somewhere inside it.. When you 'restore' an MDI, or maybe even just update one(not sure on this yet) the MDI software reads the serial number from the MDI and builds the software for that MDI and then installs it..

You can change the serial number by changing some info on the SD card, but if you have to restore it then it will change back to the original serial number that it had.. You can change it again by editing the file though so all is not lost.. I do not have any other software versions running at the moment so I do not know if this information is stored in the same place every time..

the SD card contents are stored in some sort of a linux format.. Anyone with linux should be able to read the files on the card easily.. I don't and have no clue how to run linux so I have had a large hurdle..

The registry.dat file contains all the changes for Serial number,wired networking settings, and wireless network settings.. It is encrypted somehow.. I do not know the format, nor do I have any idea how to break it down.. All I can do is use a hex editor and I can see that it is not in plain text/ascii format..

The format of this file changes with ANY change so the changes that I will discuss are from an MDI that has just been restored, you can also click on the 'clear network settings' in the mdi manager and return this file to the same format.. If you don't do this, you will lose countless hours chasing a ghost.. don't ask me how I know... lol..

Now read slowly and take notes, I may not be explaining this too well.. sorta jumbled..
The serial number is located starting in the line 012844e0 using a hex editor.. Preceding the serial number is "B3 29 30 7D 09 A3 8C 2A 4C 28 62 9F"

After the serial number is "E7 6B 76 E4 1B 4D 06 C3"

there are other locations in the file with these numbers, look at the file location I described, this is where it makes a difference.. That location is with the entire SD card being read with a hex editor.. If you can read the file then look at the end of registry.dat file..

The serial number is 16 pairs of hex numbers..
Anyone with a clone probably has "4E 2E 4D 95 AA 5D F3 F1 C7 3C 44 B9 97 55 A4 19" which somehow translates to 22129579..

It seems that the first 8 and the second 8 are able to be changed with other serial numbers.. But you cannot change from 1st half to 2nd half, or vice versa..
it seems that there is some sort of checksum, if it's a bad serial number it either crashes if the error is right in the beginning, or errors out to 220 or 221 for a serial number if the first half is ok..

so..
4E 2E 4D 95 AA 5D F3 F1 C7 3C 44 B9 97 55 A4 19 = 22129579
4E 2E 4D 95 AA 5D F3 F1 D3 6D 67 A2 72 17 0F 1E = 22111023

First half is the same, second set is borrowed from another MDI with a different serial number..

I can verify this shows up as a different serial number with the MDI manager and tech2win and sps.. Have had 2 MDI clones working wirelessly on the same network with no obvious errors..

If anyone has any idea on de-crypting these serial numbers/hex numbers, let me know..

How to renew W204 Blocked ESL by VVDI MB BGA Tool

ESL easily get broken and a new ESL cost a lot, here we will display the detailed steps about How to renew W204 Blocked ESL by VVDI MB BGA Tool.

1.Check the ESL data is locked.

2.Use the tool to open ESL emulator and take out the PCB. Desolder the IC chip form PCB and solder it to VVDI MB ELV adaptor.

Part 1: GM MDI or Tech 2

Tech 2 scan tool has become obsolete for shop use as of late. It still has a lot of capability and will do anything you need for the older platforms but it needs the CANdi module to work with any of the new stuff. The MDI is a 1 shot deal for all the newer PCMs and will still work on the older stuff too. I sold my Tech 2 and bought an MDI last year, haven't missed the Tech 2 since. Then again I've got a Genysis scanner I use for all my typical diagnostics & probing.

However, the MDI requires a GM log-in with monthly access to GM's website. That's it's only draw back for the enthusiast who wants a GM caliber scanner. The Tech 2 can be updated within itself and doesn't require the internet, the MDI does.

If you're running a shop, get an MDI. For the garage warrior or enthusiast, get a Tech 2. Just don't fall for these $350 pieces of garbage.

You can say that, Tech2win is a pain the the butt. It never updates security correctly for the 30 day window and that using GM computers and login info. The tech 2 is great for code reading, viewing data. The MDI is pretty much only used for programming but its needs on certain 10+ platforms and all 15+ to view data through GDS. All MDI functions require a GM subscription.

Part 2: Tech 2 original or clone?

First, How to find the original or fake.

It is very simple. The first thing I look, it's the memory card slot, open it up and look at the cover, if you see the stamp of the body exactly original. Next, the original at all wires and Candy use aluminum. As different numbers on the back cover, the photo you will see the difference. Sometimes it comes and all labels need to glue yourself.

Second, worth to have a Tech 2 China clone?

In short, that is a nice piece of equipment to have, very nice!

Aside from working beautifully with OBD2, the tech2 is the scanner for GM OBD1 to use. with the right software (plug in chips like nintendo cartridges) it’ll do some daewoo/suzuki, GM medium duty (meaning bigger than 3500 using non automotive OBD2 standards), and other in the GMdistant family tree too.

In addition to generic codes (P0000-P0999) It’ll do all the proprietary GM codes (P1xxx), actuators, and systems. you can also view fuel trims, emissions readyness (beyond a green LED for all OK) and It’ll talk to ALL the modules rather than just the ECM (and if you get into the $250+scanners, ABS) like BCM, SIR, entertainment, EVERYTHING on a GM. At school I used one with a 91+ cartridge on my 87 S10, so going back further is hit or miss but posible.

To adjust shift points and fuel consumptiona and Speedo, forget it.

The TECH2 can’t do any sort of modding/tuning, only upload GM flashes. At least with legitimate software. I’m sure someone has custom software to do it but there are easier ways nowadays.

Is it worth if you just want to read/clear codes on your own car once in a while, heck no. If you’re doing a lot of work on GMs or want to get a lot more in depth with your car, it’s worth the money.

No comment on China knockoff quality, I mean a working tech2, Chinese made or not.

Therefore, it’s easy to find that the GM MDI 2 multiple diagnostic interface only improves in hardware design and running speed.

But the price ($12000) of MDI 2 is 4 or 6 times as MDI 1 ($150-$300).

So, no matter it’s used for DIY fun or professional repair work, a GM MDI clone of high quality is definitely no issues. Note that there are different versions of GM MDI china clone; and the quality may vary coz they are produced in different factory, especially PCB design. And it would result in various prices. The MDI came ready to use with the software installed. It worked since I already had Tech2Win, GDS2 and GM MDI Manager installed on my laptop. It works extremely well and I have no problems with it. The product image at the time I order showed the cable keeper, A/C 12 volt adapter and multiple diagnostic interface user’s guide CD which is used to install the MDI manager software on your laptop. These items were not included. It also said it was Wifi but did not come with a wireless card but with a wireless interface instead. There are two versions of GM MDI interface on China market, cheaper MDI less than US$180 with only USB connection and the other more expensive with wifi wireless connection.

The product would work excellent if you had the MDI manager software already on your laptop.

My MDI clone works fine with tech2win and also TIS2000 software. Used it for diags and pcm flashing with no problem (through usb port only, cause wifi is unstable for programming functions).

Added a wireless card to that one too, same flawless performance.. Only issue for me is that they all have the same serial number.. So using 2 of them in the same shop with wireless would be impossible..

compared boards from a genuine to this clone, almost identical.. multiple layer pcbs, same tracers, didn’t see any difference except the board labeling was missing on the clone.
Wifi GM  mdi good, interface works online. update mdi 100%. offline not that good  for new cars.

Nissan Consult III Plus Ver.46.30 works on MDI interface as well (this is not tested by me, your are on your risk).

6) Au instructions à l'écran, saisissez le VIN et la lecture du compteur kilométrique, puis vérifiez la date et l' heure.
7) Sélectionnez « IMMOBI » de « Sélection système » Menu
8) Sélectionnez « Configuration antidémarrage » à partir du menu « Mode test antidémarrage »
9) Sélectionnez Ajouter et supprimer des clés
10) Sélectionner Ajouter 1 touche

KTAG KESS KTM BDM adapter Full Set is an electronic circuit intended for BDM operation on supported ECU. The adapter provides pogo pin based connectors for interfacing the ECU BDM connector. So, how to use DM adapters with Ktag Kess KTM100 Dimsport?

Steps outlined below describe a safe procedure when connecting and powering up the setup. Always be sure to provide the ECU power (from either tool or external source) after the adapter has been secured in a desired position - touching the ECU BDM pads. This will prevent you from short circuiting the setup.

  1. Open the ECU
  • at least one part of the casing (top or bottom) needs to be removed
  • refer to other sources (Internet) to get information on which part needs removing on your

ECU

  1. Locate the ECU BDM connector
  • usually a set of 10 - 12 pads in two rows (depending on the ECU)
  • pads may be 2.54 mm or 1.27 mm apart (depending on the ECU)
  • rows may be 2.54 mm or 5.08 mm apart (depending on the ECU)
  • if the ECU BDM connector can not be located, chances are that the BDM pads are scattered

all over the ECU PCB in which case you can not use the adapter directly - nevertheless it is

possible to manually route the adapter BDM signals to the ECU BDM pads (only for

advanced users)

  1. Locate the ECU BDM pin 1 position
  • pin 1 is usually not clearly marked on the ECU BDM pin out
  • on an ECU with the standard Motorola BDM pin out pins 3 and 5 are connected to ground -

this can be checked either visually or using a multimeter tool

  • refer to other sources (Internet) to get more information on the pin 1 position for your ECU
  1. Place the desired adapter in the frame saddle
  • make sure the pogo pins are facing out
  • lift the saddle so that the ECU can be slided under the frame adapter saddle
  1. Place the ECU on the frame
  • inspect the adapter for pogo pin 1 location which is clearly marked
  • rotate the ECU on the frame so that the adapter pogo pin 1 and ECU BDM pin 1 match
  • make sure ECU is firmly sitting on the frame
  • double check the ECU position
  1. Connect the multiplexer board and adapter
  • at this point multiplexer board should be connected to the adapter via MUX connector
  • this will allow LEDs on the adapter to illuminate the area of interest (where the pogo pins

need to touch the ECU BDM pads)

  • do not connect the tool yet
  1. Connect the external power (+12 V) to the multiplexer
  • multiplexer external power is used to power the LEDs on the adapter allowing easier

positioning of the adapter pogo pins on the ECU BDM pads

  • red LED on multiplexer board will light up when external power (+12 V) is present
  • at this point the white LEDs on the adapter should also light up
  • do not connect the tool yet
  1. Fine tune the ECU position
  • lower the frame adapter saddle to almost touch the ECU BDM pads
  • each adapter pogo pin needs to sit on a separate ECU BDM pad
  • if pogo pins do not sit on the pads you may be using the wrong adapter - do not use the

adapter in this case!

  1. Lower the frame adapter saddle
  • each adapter pogo pin should sit on one ECU BDM pad
  • minimum down force should be applied when making the interconnection between the

adapter and ECU

  1. Double check the adapter pogo pin and ECU BDM pad interconnection
  • in order not to damage the ECU and/or tool make sure that the steps above have been

performed correctly

  1. Connect the tool to the multiplexer board
  • only connect one tool at any given moment to the multiplexer
  • make sure to use the correct 10-pin IDC connector (FGTECH, XPROG, BDM100&KTAG)

for interfacing the tool used:

○ use provided 10-pin to 10-pin cable with FGTECH or BDM100 tools

○ use provided 10-pin to 16-pin cable with XPROG tool

○ use manufacturer 10-pin to 25-pin cable with KTAG tool

  • do not connect the tool to the 10-pin IDC connector labeled MUX
  • do not power up the tool yet
  1. For Bosch adapteronly
  • Bosch ECUs need to have ECU power supplied on the pogo pins (2 and 9)
  • some tools provide dedicated ECU power (BDM100, KTAG) while others do not

(XPROG, FGTECH)

  • Bosch adapter can be used in both cases, providing that the jumper is properly placed on

the 3-pin header (found on the adapter)

  • place the jumper on the adapter on the 3-pin header to the correct position:

○ place jumper over left and central pins when using XPROG and FGTECH tools - this will use +12 V power delivered from the multiplexer board (external power) for powering the ECU

○ place jumper over right and central pins when using BDM100 or KTAG tools - this will use

+12 V power delivered by the tool for powering the ECU

  1. For Siemens, Delphi and Marelli adapters only
  • Siemens, Delphi and Marelli do not provide ECU power on the pogo pins
  • in order to power the ECU +12 V and ground signals needs to be connected to the ECU separately (usually over the ECU interfacing connector)
  • in this case ECU power can be taken from multiplexer board connectors J2 (+12 V) and J3 (ground), otherwise provide the +12 V ECU power from additional source
  • refer to other sources (Internet) to get more information on the location of the +12 V and

ground pin location for your ECU

  1. Connect the tool to the PC (or power up the tool)
  • perform software installation as described by the tool manufacturer if not done already
  • at this point the multiplexer, adapter and the ECU should be properly interconnected with

BDM signals and power lines

○ multiplexer red LED should be lit up

○ adapter white LEDs should be lit up

○ ECU power (+12 V) should be present

  • connect the tool to the PC (usually done over USB or serial connection)
  1. Perform BDM operation(s)
  • start up the software package to operate the tool
  • perform desired BDM operation(s)Note: This is used for reference; in fact, it depends. Try on your own risk.

is an acronym for Engine Control Unit, a piece of hardware containing electronic circuit used to

control and monitor the vehicle engine operation.

ECU BDM CONNECTOR

way - usually by the means of the pogo pins. Most of the ECU BDM connectors have their pads laid

out according to the standard Motorola BDM pin out. Some ECUs may have proprietary BDM pin

outs or BDM pads scattered all over the ECU PCB.

FRAME

is a mechanical contraption used to fix the adapter for the BDM operation. It usually allows sliding

the adapter up and down to get it into contact with the ECU BDM connector.

MULTIPLEXER

is an electronic circuit board for interfacing any adapter through the 10-pin IDC connector (MUX)

with one of the supported BDM tools through the designated 10-pin IDC connector (FGTECH,

XPROG, BDM100&KTAG).

TOOL

is a third party piece of equipment used for BDM operation – supported tools include

BDM100, FGTECH, KTAG and XPROG.

Mazda IDS installation guide for non WIFI version:
1. Download and install IDS v100 program ,then must restart
2. install VX Driver VCM II 1.0.6.1224
3. Plug in the VXDiag let the system to detect and install drivers automatically,
4. run the IDS program
5. first time running the program it will pop out a column called " IDS Configure product", please choose "non dealer" in dealer type, and country you are, then click tick on the right

Mazda IDS installation guide for WIFI version:
1. Download and install IDS v100 program ,then must restart
2. install VX Driver VCM II 1.0.6.1224
3. install VX manager, and run it ( download from http://www.vxdiag.net/)
4. Run VX manager, click configure, and choose WLAN as the connection type, Click "Save" and "ok"
5. click pc wifi connection, and select "VCX-WIFI", and waiting the connection succeeded
6. Run the VX manager again, nano WIFI connection will successful.
7. Run the IDS Program.

Mini Pro TL866A read/write 5P08C3ST95P08ST95080

Please write good and bad results of Super Mini Pro TL866A eeprom programmer programming 5P08C3 ST95P08 ST95080.

it is a good programmer for the price. read 5p08 many times no problem. If one manufacturer dies to work try another and so on.

I have this programmer, tll866, and I read 5p08c3 but I program on 95080 and put in edc15c2. No problem, 95080 works fine on edc15c2.

I get same error with this programmer. Dump read ok ,but when try to program after dump mod. I can’t write it. And if i read dump and don’t mod dump i can write it back.

This programmer it’s no good for 5p080. UPA it’s good for this eeprom.

Tried it with upa and xprog. Don’t read it at all. Reads all 00 FF 78
I mean with 95080 option.

5P08C3 i tried to read with TL866 and it read it wrong. Writing not possible.
I do it now with Xprog. It is cheaper to use the right tool than mess up the original dump...

I can say some history about this eeproms!
This eeprom is very sensitive with temperature you can become strange problemslike

Failed to program (write) 5P08C3 with TL866 (it is an immo off operation for Citroen Berlingo ECU Bosch EDC15c2)

With my Super Mini Pro TL866A I can read the chip as ST95080 but i can`t write it, or I don`t know how...
There are some option in the config region, I try it all ...but with same result.

Good tips for you if you fails to read:

First:Have you desolder eeprom from board?

It needs to be desoldered... and reading and writing attempts by an verified adapter

Second: Something wrong with your programmer?

Better test it with some other chips tocheck if it can read/write perfect, without any issue.

Third: You use correct adapter for ST95P08?

5P08C3 is ST95P08.both 5p08c3 and ST95P08 are out of production - they are 1999 models. The new equivalent one is ST95080 - it is the same chip with better data storage and capabilities.
Imagine that I am asking here after a long research on the internet about this problem.
The main opinion is that you can use TL866 for writing 5p08c3 as an 95080
